Supporting Indo-Himalayan
Education and Culture in Zanskar

Providing "Modern Education with Traditional Values" to 280 children and being self-supporting within 5 years

APECIH is a Swiss-based non-profit association supporting Indo-Himalayan education and culture. In its early days the founder of APECIH, Pierre Odier, has been providing support to families in the remote region of Zanskar to help educate their children. In 2017, with the donations collected by APECIH, this led to the construction and development of the RAINBOW SCHOOL to provide a "Modern Education with Traditional Values" to the children in Zanskar.

Today the school has the infrastructure to welcome 130 children from the age of 4 to 10 and is not yet covering operating costs. The RAINBOW SCHOOL needs your donations to offer its unique learning experience to more children in Zanskar. The ambition is to welcome 280 children from the age of 4 to 14 - covering the elementary program - and to cover operating costs within the next 5 years.
